We finally went to the Stuttgart natural history museum. I think it was even better than the Frankfurt musuem for dinos. Frankfurt had a big room with a few of the well known dinos (T-rex, stegosaurus, brontosaurus) but not much else. Stuttgart was basically nothing but dinos. And a wooly mammoth. And more dinos. Lots of water dinos/lizard things. Scary giant aligators. Loch nest moster things. Water plants. Generally pretty neat, and close to home.
Saturday we had our fist night out with the new baby sitter. It was surprising how nice that was just to get out for a few hours without worrying about kids and their behavior.
The kids have been a little sick, so we took a pretty easy weekend. We picked up a couple of beers at Lidle. It is strange drinking out of a screw-top plastic bottle. But at least they were cheap...
Achalm Pilsner - Not great but drinkable.
Cobra - at the Indian restaurant on date night. Great just to be out, not a bad beer.
Grafenwald Hefe Weissbier - Pretty good, considering the cost and source.
Tuborg Pilsner - This time, you get what you pay for.
