Made it to London and toured around some today. We saw Big Ben, the House of Parlaiment, the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey (did the tour, amazing), Hyde Park, Harrods, and the Eye of London. Hopefully we will get to see the Tower of London and Tower Bridge tomorrow. And I had to finish reading a thesis!
No beer! Not a drop. Too much walking around and pushing a stroller, maybe tomorrow.

Three hour defense! Not uncommon here. They actually do an examination. We did not get inside the tower, just pics nearby and pics of the tower bridge. We did manage some good Indian food and a big fat draft Kingfisher. Off to Ireland- Edward O Gatzke
